The report said that members of the army and the police in Northern Ireland had secretly helped the Ulster Defence Association (UDA), a Loyalist ↑ paramilitary group, to murder Catholics in the 1970s and 1980s, including Pat Finucane, a ↑ solicitor who was shot in 1989.
