Said when one tells a lame joke. Usually said by the person who made the joke and followed by someone who understands the phrase, saying What pun?. From the mediocre movie _Rat Race_. Example: john: knock knock bob: who's there? john: boo bob: boo who? john: no need to cry (silence and a few strange glances at john) john: no pun intended bob: what pun? (acting confused) john and bob: (laughing but gettin strange looks from people who haven't seen the movie or just don't plain understand)
