RADIO BUTTON

(n.) A button that the user clicks to set an option. Unlike checkboxes, radio buttons are mutually exclusive--selecting one radio button deselects all other radio buttons in the group. In the JavaTM look and feel, radio buttons are created using the JRadioButton component. See also checkbox
