Meaning of SALADO RIVER in English

River, eastern Argentina.

It flows through the Pampas , generally southeast for about 400 mi (640 km) to the Atlantic Ocean, where it empties southeast of Buenos Aires . Before 1800 it marked the frontier between areas colonized by Spain to the northeast and regions inhabited by indigenous Indians to the southwest.
