Meaning of FLEMALLE, MASTER OF in English

flourished c. 1430 an unknown Flemish painter and leading artist of the northern Renaissance, whose work is characterized by naturalistic and sculptural conceptions that signalize the replacement of the decorative International Style of the late Middle Ages.
