PAN AM BUILDING

one of the best-known buildings in New York, near Grand Central Station , built by Pan American World Airways and completed in 1963. It has the shape of a plane wing. The building was sold to an insurance company in 1991 and is now officially the Met Life Building, though many people still use its original name.
