EXCLUSIVE RIGHTS

The right to do something (in this case, to catch fish) is exclusive to the bolder(s) of the right; that is, the holders can exclude others without the right from catching fish in the fishery. That is, the owner of a piece of land has the exclusive right to farm the land and can exclude others from using the land without the owners permission. OECD (1996)
