River, central Oklahoma, U.S. Formed by the junction of Beaver River and Wolf Creek, it is 440 mi (708 km) long and rises in a high plateau in New Mexico.

It flows east through the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles past Oklahoma City , joining the Canadian River in the Eufaula Reservoir.
