TAX REFORM ACT OF 1986 (TRA 86)

Tax law that effected a major overhaul of the U.S. tax system by lowering tax rates- slowing down the Accelerated Cost Recovery System (now MACRS)- repealing the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and repealing the transitional finance lease.
