INFORMATION RESOURCE DEPARTMENT (IRD)

The Information Resources Department (IRD) is responsible for centralized planning, analysis, design, development, evaluation, budgeting, training, procurement, installation, operation, maintenance, support and management of all District data processing and information services, technical publications, software and equipment. In addition, IRD provides a variety of administrative, technical, service and District-wide support activities, including voice and data communications services and maintenance, records management, inventory control and warehouse management, library services, and centralized office support.
