Meaning of COMMON PROPERTY in English

1. Property belonging to a community or a particular group within a community, owned and managed in common for the benefit of the community or that particular group. Excludes individual rights.

2. Occurs where the rights to exploit a particular resource are held collectively by two or more persons (Commonwealth of Australia, 1989).
