questions put to the British Prime Minister in the House of Commons for half an hour each week, on Wednesday afternoons. The questions are from both government and Opposition Members of Parliament and are not known by the Prime Minister in advance. His answers often lead to noisy disagreement between members of parliament in different parties. The occasion is often broadcast on television.
