UTILITY WATER USE

Water supplied from a Public Water Supply System and used for such purposes as firefighting, street washing, and municipal parks and swimming pools. Public water use also includes system water losses (water lost to leakage) and brine water discharged from desalination facilities. Also referred to as Public Water Use.
